Obama the Fascist

One more timely example. It would be easier for Obama to avoid charges of fascism if perhaps things like this weren't coming out of the Whitehouse:
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
The president of the US . . . asking his supporters to act as informers on any political speech which opposes his plans . . . reminds me of Wilson and his American Protective League.

Hal, sorry to go O/T. I know I don't post here much, but I do stop by whenever I see your name pop up at Shamus's or Ace's. I put up a post on the new swine flu vaccine having been developed using cell material from an aborted baby, and a commenter brought up an ethical issue on eSCR I thought you might find interesting. Would you like to stop by and comment? We'd enjoy getting your perspective. His comment is here.
