I spent most of my day helping to move my grandparents to a new place today. We moved them out of their home that they've lived in for many, many years. Among the random things we found?
Copies of several different local papers from the day Kennedy was shot, and an American flag with 48 stars.
This leads me to wonder . . . how long do I have to hang on to my junk before it becomes a historical treasure? Or, at least a collectible artifact?

yeah, i definitely ask myself that question. steve bought a copy of the 50th anniversay edition vinyl of Dark Side of the Moon, but refuses to open it so that our grandkids will have something that is worth a lot.

Invariably, whatever you do, the date you pick to do a cleanout will be N-1 from the day something becomes a classic ;->
