North Korean Humor

I don't have anything to say about North Korea setting off what may or may not be nuclear weapons that you probably haven't already heard in the last few days. So, let's take this opportunity to find humor in all of it. First, this political ad. I'd link the YouTube video, but it seems people don't like the video so it's being flagged.

Next, this comic from Least I Could Do:

I wonder if North Korea has WMD's.

Yes, that is sarcasm.

I hate our leaders. Hypocrisy like this (you know, 40,000 civilians dead because Iraq had WMD's) makes me want to join Al Qaeda.

Hal, how do you justify this atrocity? I'd also like to hear from Hal's posse on this.

Oh, actually 655,000 dead Iraqis, according to this article

I think there's only one good explanation: the war in Iraq is a holy war.

Justify what atrocity? I don't get what you mean Steve.

And I haven't looked too much at that article, so I'm not in a position to say whether or not the study is legitimate.

Although, in another bit of humor, one of Ace's commenters looked at the math.

I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall.

Do you remember how Bush justified invading Iraq? WMD's and Iraqi freedom. We never found WMD's, and the Iraqi people are anything but free.

Now we (and everyone else) KNOW that North Korea has WMD's AND they are communist, and all of a sudden we're being diplomatic?

WTF???

Hal, don't play dumb. I know you prefer to avoid questions to which the answer makes you look like a fool, but sometimes that is the mature, respectable thing to do.

Typical Hal, burying his head in the sand anytime principles or ethics are discussed.

Actually, if you would have an ounce of patience, I was planning on writing on that.

First, I must ask: Do you advocate military strikes on the DPRK?

No, I don't advocate military strikes on DPRK.

Sorry for the impatience, and I'm looking forward to the post on this topic.
